How to Host a House Concert
What is a house concert?
 Quite simply, it is a concert that takes place in someone’s home. That's right, folks ... a performance in your living room, den, back yard, front yard, clubhouse, private room in a restaurant, boat dock, or other creative hangout. We are not unique in doing this type of thing. In fact, house concerts have been around for quite a while. All over the country, there are many regular house concert series hosted by people who love acoustic music. The focus is singer/songwriter style. We may do a few of our favorite covers, but most of the concert will be original music. So…no yelling requests for “Free Bird” or “Hotel California” PLEASE! Guests at a house concert will get a history behind the song and some fun stories of how each song was inspired. This personal experience is not always possible when playing at a venue under more strict expectations.
